Fake Pain

The Obama administration is becoming indignant with the answers surrounding sequestration. Jay Carney stood at the podium today and declared "i told you so". Then Jay proceeded to say it was because the cuts had to be painful. There was no other way to implement because of the way the bill was written. Well let me tell you, this administration is lying. First of all, the government agencies knew the law for almost 18 months before they were implemented, yet they failed to plan for them. In fact government agencies were directed by "senior leadership" specifically, not to plan for them. See these agency heads (especially DoD) never believed these cuts would remain in place. So senior leadership in DoD (yes this includes the General Officers) made the conscious decision to employ "hope" as a strategy. That's right, they hoped Congress would change the law and spare them. Rather than plan for the worst as we are taught, the government plans on hope. The government makes decisions made entirely on money. That is why the government can never be cut and only the rate of growth can be slowed. See in the government agencies are rewarded for spending all of their money appropriated and rewarded even more if they can spend money that some other agency had. If an agency spends all of its money it will receive more next year. There is no benefit to find efficiencies because if they don't spend the money that was appropriated they might get less next year. That is the problem with the government. I am tired of hearing how the government can't be run like a business. That is a load of crap. Yes the government could run more like a business. All that needs to happen is to change leadership. Rather than have leaders that preach the right terminology, employ leaders that will enforce the right approaches. The current government leaders use the right business buzz words but do not really know what those terms mean. I am tired of senior leaders sitting around not making decisions while they continue to waste taxpayer dollars. This all the while blaming the politicians for the problems. Yes we have problems with the politics, but the senior leaders in the government are incapable of making a decision. They refuse to make a decision and allow their indecions to make decision for them and then react to the consequences. This is all fake pain that could be avoided.

The Right To Be Free

The attack on Boston yesterday should serve notice to those that are more than willing to give up some of their freedoms for a little bit of temporary security. See the government is not capable of providing protection, safety, and security all of the time. The scene in Boston was horrific and the attackers need to be brought to justice. The problem is protecting our streets from the terrorists should have been a priority, yet the only priority of this government is to protect the liberal interest groups. See for the past few months our government both State and Federal has been focused on taking away our rights as citizens to protect our selves. Our government has been busy chastising Americans into giving up our freedoms in the name of security all the while someone or some group was planning on attacking asporting event. The left is all about individual freedom when it comes to a right or freedom they agree with but are more than willing to give up other peoples right and freedoms if they disagree. So where is the safety and security our government has promised? Please liberals tell me again why I have to give of my right to self protection when the govenrment is obviously incapable of protecting us. I am not blaming the govenrment for the failure to protect the Boston Marathon. In all likelihood there was no way to provide 100% security, However, I do blame the government for attempting to take away my constitutional rights to provide my own security when the government can not provide me with security. Our streets are dangerous and taking away guns just because liberals fear them is not going to change that. In the case of terrorism, this administration will insist on punishing a few individuals rather than whole, but when it comes to American rights this administration punishes the citizenry as a whole rahter than the individual culprits. This adminstration says leave the protection of the citizenry to the police yet look at Boston yesterday and ask yourself, Do you feel safe and secure with government alone protecting us? If a terrorist (domestic or international) is capable of building bombs in the apartment next door and planting them at a major sporting event, do you really believe you are safe and secure? Do you really believe taking away my rights is going to make you safer? Let there be no doubt that we are under attack because we are a free nation. There are rogue states that understand terrorist attacks will bring about calls for less freedom for the sake of security, that is why terrorists strike. The best advice is to carry on with our day to day business and punish those that would attempt to hurt our way of life. Don't give in to terrorism, yet we are still thinking we should give up even more individual freedom for the sake of security. Again the left has it exactly backwards. The events of yesterday should strengthen our resolve to be free, yet I have no doubt there will be talk of again reducing our own rights to freedom in the aftermath of yesterday.

Sequestation

Listen America, don't be fooled by the Obaama and Nancy rhetoric. We do have a spending problem and it won't be fixed simply by saying it isn't so. Like any addiction, we must first admit that we have a problem. Our economy has been in the tank since late 2007, isn't 5 years an awful long time to be waiting for a recovery? Obama can talk all he wants on Tuesday about how awful and draconian the sequestation cuts are presumed. The problem isn't sequestation though. The problem is the unwillingness of the left to admit we have a spending problem. Seriously, the Republicans should not be entertaining any additional tax schemes to take sequestation off the board. Obama enacted his tax increase on the rich as well as the middle class in January. Obama received a remporary increase in the debt ceiling. Now Obama wants even more concessions on sequestation. The Republicans can not fold. Is sequestation the best hand in the world? Certainly not but it is the winning hand right now. The left will use the propaganda machine use their bullhorns to demonize republicans but that will happen no matter what the Republicans do. Stadn firm and the crashing economy will be the Republicans fault, capitulate and the media will portray it as another loss from a party bankrupt of ideas. The left will not cease in their cry for more taxes until they figure out there is no more of other people's money to be had. As long as Republicans keep giving in the left will keep on taking without compromise. Obama received his tax increases on 77% people already. Now he has to be forced to either find budget cuts to match sequestation or live with his own idea. See it was not the evil republicans that dreamed up sequestation. It was Obama's idea. Obama is playing chicken and winning right now. See Obama doesn't believe republicans will allow defense cuts. The problem is defense needs to have a haircut. Iraq has been shut down for over a year and yet the DoD budget is still increasing. No one can tell me that there are not cuts to be gained from reducing our footprint in Iraq and Afghanistan. Now the defense cts will be tough this year as there are 6 months left in the year to take big reduction in funding. It will be tough but only becasue DoD never thought it would come to sequestation so they never even had a contingency plan in place. DoD has had over a year to figure out what happens with sequestation. Instead of planning Dod went full speed ahead. Sequesttion is a necessary evil. Republicans need to tell Obama that sequestation is about spending cuts period. Tell Obama that there will be a time to discuss tax reform but this is not the forum. Tax reform is important but should revenue neutral. Like I said, Obama already enacted his tax increase on the working class and the rich. Funny I was reading the left's interpretation of the CBO concerning deficit reduction and how that is dragging on the economy. Funny thing is though the left believes that is because of spending reductions, when in reality the drag is because of tax increases. This is what happens when you use terms to distract. See "deficit reduction" must mean cuts in spending. "Affordable health care" must mean that healtch care costs will be reduced or at least neutral. That none of these is reality doesnt matter to the left. It is about distraction and implying rather than truthfulness and accuracy. Stop playing around an force Obama to the table of spending reductions without further tax increases. Once Republicans give away all of the taxes there will be nothing left to use as leverage for tax reform, which means tax rates will necessarily go up. I don't like or care for sequestation. However, as long as the left refuses to admit they have a spending problem then the Republicans have to move forward with Obama's plan. Obama planned this but didn't believe it would actually be seriously considered. Well the time is now for serious consideration. Washington is broke, this is an opportunity to take short term criticism for long term gain. Save the tax reform for when we get to entitlement reform. That or we will again be taxed at higher rates to pay for an entitlement the left will refuse to reform.

The Incurious Media

The media has an agenda and it is not to search out for answers. The media has become an incurious bunch; a lazy bunch that takes at face value anything that supports their own myopic view. The media is a sheltered bunch rarely leaving the confines of the cement jungles. The conservatives, republicans, and the right, need to understand this fact. The media will never be on the side of the right. The reality they live in is confined by the urban walls in which they live. The media types believe they are refined because they have culture, because they have fine dining and theater. They have heard about the soup kitchens and maybe even visited one or two, but they know nothing about what it is really like. The right needs to start calling out the incurious. Newt Gingrich, for all of his faults, had this right, press the media. Call their objectivity into question. Call the one-sided beliefs into questions. When the media asks someone on the right to defend themselves against "common sense" laws don't fight with facts and figures, answer the question with a questions like "common sense to whom? You?" All to often the right has to defend their beliefs while the left has the opportunity to espouse their beliefs. This will not change, this is the reality of the media. They are by nature liberal. They are truly interested in "human interest" stories. They like anecdotes and use anecdotal evidence as proof. Liberals are ruled by emotion and the media types are no different. The media does not understand rational thought processes let alone logical thought processes. They only understand their environment in the cement jungles where they feel secure. They do not understand, nor do they care to understand, why people prefer not to live elbow to elbow with their neighbor. The love to visit the pristine wilderness, but would not dare to live in the wilderness. See the left of which the media exist, does not really understand why people would not prefer the urban centers where the culture and civilization exists. Why would one really want anything else other than the concrete jungles. That is why, we must fight the left and the media at every turn. There is no need to coddle to the media in hopes of getting a good press narrative. That will never happen. Every time the leftward media comes to interview someone on the right, they go in with preconceived notions and will conduct the interview from their point of view. Now don't get me wrong they will attack from both sides but will never really budge from what it is they truly believe. The media has become an expert at manipulation. Just look at the last election. It should have been an election about the economy, yet the left knew their favored candidate couldn't win on the economy so they made it about social issues and class warfare. They manipulated the low information voters. This will never change. So why fight with facts when the left will make up their own facts with emotion filled anecdotes? Instead the right needs to become indignant with the media just like Newt did. Instead of allowing Candi Crowley to interject herself in the debates, Romney should have become indignant with her for her lies. The worst thing that could have happened was Romney would lose the election. Well guess what he did lose. The time to start calling out the media at every turn is now. We can not allow the media to set the narrative. Get out in front of them and attack them and their beliefs like they do the beliefs held by the right. The media is incurious and will not investigate. Their minds are made up, which makes it the right time to attack the messenger. The media does not like being defensive so make them defensive, maybe just maybe, more will realize they are not objective and start to at least make an attempt to present both sides of the arguments.

Yes Hillary, It Does Matter

Yes Hillary it does matter what your response is to the question of whether or not the attack on our consulate in Benghazi was the result of a terror attack or a video. If you have to wonder why then ask why was it so important to get out in front of the story and start planting the seeds that this was not a terror attack? The question is important because 4 Americans have lost their lives. This certainly does not appear to be a spontaneous protest gone awry. Certainly all indications are that it was a terror attack. Certainly the lie that it was the result of some video was important at the time to hide the fact that it was your office Hillary the ignored email traffic from the Ambassador requesting more security. It was your office Hillary, that appears to have been incompetent and unaware of the situation. Unaware and yet you had forewarning of the attack. That is what really galls me Hillary. There was advance warning of this attack and the President still sent out his minions to lie to the American public. That is why it is so important that you answer the question Hillary. You are part of a cover-up. The people paying attention know you ignored pleas from the Ambassador. We know there was a forewarning. We know that security was outsourced. We also know that when Susan Rice went on Meet The Press she was lying through her teeth. Your adoring propagandists in the media may think it made your indignant fist pounding rhetoric may look tough, but where was your indignation when Susan Rice lied and you knew it was a lie? Where was the indignation when you knew there were unanswered security requests from Benghazi? Where is your indignation when you found out that the Obama appeasement doctrine isn't working? See you got tough Hillary with the bullies of the Republican party, to bad you aren't so tough with the enemies of America. Yes Hillary the answer does matter. The left may hail you as a hero. In reality you are part of the coverup that you along with the administration hopes just goes away. This is how your husband reacted with every scandal. Just deny or use smoke and mirrors to divert attention until the heat dies down, then become indignant. You are pond scum Hillary. You are still a liar hiding out acting a moderate. Sooner or later the Benghazi story will be told. The cover up is why it matters Hillary. Had the administration not tried to push a false narrative then you wouldn't have mattered. However, thus far the only punishment for anyone over this affair was the poor lad who is in jail for "probation violations". The movie guy is being punished while "ye of I take full responsibility" have let no heads roll.

Side Effects

In medicine, patients are often concerned with the side effects of the medicine being prescribed. In politics generally, and Obamacare specifically, not many cared about the side effects of a bill no one read before passing it into law. Universities and the people they hire were all cheering about passing a healthcare law. However now it seems some are complaining about the side effects they didn't care about until it affected their own pocket book. This is almost too funny. An Adjunct Professor in Ohio has his hours cut so the university doesn't have to pay for adjunct professor's healthcare. The Adjunct Professor is whining he can't afford his own insurance. I don't feel sorry for this useful idiot whatsoever. This is what he voted for. Funny how it is always so popular to fund and pay for things we want, as long as we are paying with other peoples money. Want government intervention in college loans, great idea as long as the rich are paying their fair share. Want illegals going to college paying in state tuition, great idea as long as the rich pay their fair share. See everything a liberal wants and pushes on others is some great societal need and they are willing to pay for it as long as it is someone else who ups the money. Stop whining Mr. Part time worker, this is what you voted for,

Left Wing Propaganda Machine

There was a time I believed the Media complex was being used by the liberal left. So I started calling them pathetic pawns. I have to say I was so wrong. The media complex are not the pawns I believed. They are not being used. They have become the propaganda machine of the left. The media does not employ reporters, journalists, or writers. The media complex hires and promotes loud mouthed liberal hacks that follow their liberal leaders around tongues wagging. Where is the proof one may ask? All we have to do is look at the press and some of the things they have done recently. There is of course Politifact lie of the year. In an effort to save their messiah the media complex decided they had to declare Mitt Romney's ad a big lie. The ad concerned Chrysler building Jeeps in China, which would rob Ohio of jobs. The President lied through his teeth. The media complex sensing trouble for their messiah picked up the message and stated boldly the ad was a pants on fire ad being run by a desperate man. The ad turned out to be true yet the media complex refuses to apologize. The lie of the year was politifact itself. See the lie may very well have turned the battle in a couple of States. Mainly Ohio but it could have bled over into Michigan and Pennsylvania. The big lie was the media complex desperate;y saving their liberal leader. The of course there was Candy Crowley acting like Joseph Goebbels while "moderating a debabte". Crowley sensing her liberal hero was taking it on the chin over Benghazi, came to the President's aid and stated a untruth so loud and firm that she had the whole viewing audience wondering if Romney really was lying. The problem here was Crowley was lying, Crowley wasn't moderating anything, Crowley was pushing a one sided debate and would interject to save the one she was so infatuated with. Now we have David Gregory and the stunt he pulled on National Television. That was all show and propaganda. See if it was sincere, like the true journalist of the past, Gregory would have proudly stood up to be taken off the set in handcuffs. Gregory if he truly believed the principle he claimed would have also been willing to accept the consequences of his actions. Instead he whined to anyone that would listen including the family friend that just happened to be the Washington D.C Attorney General. Rather than accept responsibility, Gregory proved that there is a war going on in this country, a war where the liberal elitists are above the law and the common man is held to the higher standards. Then there is the Washington Post pundit, stating that for Obama to cement his legacy, he must go for the throat and destroy the republican party. I guess violence is good when it is being committed by a liberal. Violence is only bad when it is committed by a person in which a liberal disagrees. See when Representative Giffords was shot the media shamelessly blamed all of the violence on the right. When it was shown that the left also displayed violence, the propaganda machine didn't back off they just stated "yea, but the right was worse." Now with the Newtown shooting, we have a President exploiting children but the media complex sensing the NRA ad may shine a negative light on the hypocrisy of the President, declares the President's children to be off limits. This even though the President is using children as props to push what he has always intended to do and that is to take away rights. We have a media that claims the left is moderate and the right is extreme. Nothing wrong with trillion dollar annual deficits as long as the liberals are the ones running up the tab. Where is the journalists that should be pointing out Obama's hypocrisy of not voting for the debt ceiling increase in 2006 but now claiming the republicans are irresponsible not to increase the debt ceiling. In fact Nina Totenberg, another one the Joseph Goebbels high, came to Obama's defense saying that was then and Obama's vote wouldn't have mattered anyway. Wow, so Obama grandstanding was fine when it was a republican President that required an increase, but not so fine when the Republicans try to hold the liberals responsible. Listen people, the left will not stop until the common man is completely under the control of the elitist. The propaganda machine has hitched its wagon to the American left. It will act in unison with the left just like the propaganda machine run by Goebbels. The propagandist used to hide the hatred of the right. That is no longer true. Ever since the propagandists were caught attempting to influence the 2000 election, they knew their ruse was up. Dan Rather and his fraudulent attempt to influence another election 2004 just was another step towards total propaganda. Finally, it was Campbell Brown in 2008, that proudly stated that Journalist shouldn't have to be balanced as long as the journalist knew the facts. That was a dangerous statement when the common man had placed so much trust into the propagandists. Believe me there is a war going on in America and it is class warfare. The elitists on the left are attempting to control the common man. The want to control what we eat, what we purchase, what we can do with private property, what we can say and when we can pray. The elitists on the left have a deep seated desire to control the daily routines of the common man. The left is destroying the middle class. They don't want the typical three class society of the rich, the poor, and the middle classes. Nope they want a ruling elite class and a working class. The ruling elitists will control everything the working class does. Much like the mindless society in the Matrix, the left wants the government to control everything. Today a journalist wrote that the government should take away her right to bears arms. She had a personal story that at one time made her think about purchasing a gun. In the end however, she didn't purchase a gun and is willing to give her right up. I am fine with that. She should have that right take it from her. But she has no right to speak for me. I will never give up my rights. The Propagandists can claim they are not advocating for the taking away of a right all they want. It is just another lie that only a Goebbels like propagandist could push.
