Obama's Aunt Lives in Poverty

Obama is anxiously awaiting his chance to give working Americans' money away in an effort to redistribute your wealth, but why won't he practice what he preaches when it comes to his own family?

Obama’s campaign spokesman Reid Cherlin confirmed to the Boston Herald
yesterday that Zeituni Onyango, 56, who lives on Flaherty Way in South
Boston, is Obama’s aunt on his father’s side.

Onyango, a Kenyan native, is believed to be the “Aunti Zeituni” in Obama’s memoir, “Dreams From My Father.”

The woman has lived in Boston public housing for the last five years. One other thing, she's in the US illegally. Her request for asylum was rejected and she was instructed to leave the US and return to Kenya by a US Immigration Judge.

How can Obama, a man who earns millions of dollars a year, ignore this poor woman's plight? What kind of man abandons a blood relative like this? A shallow, amoral, blindly ambitious man. He used her in his book, but did she one dime from the profits? Obviously not. Obama won't spend any of his own money to help this poor woman, and why should he? He's almost positive that he'll be elected, and once that happens, he'll use OUR money to support her. He won't part with his money, but you would think that as US Senator, he might be able to assist her with her immigration problem. Of course she could always move in with Obama's half-brother, who lives in a shack in Kenya and earns about twelve dollars a year.

Then Obama has the gall to label people who reject his idea of wealth redistribution as selfish. Who's selfish here, a multi-millionaire politician/lawyer who refuses to help a poor relative, or millions of hard working Americans that think they have earned the right to decide how they spend their money ? The answer is as obvious as the McCain/Palin sign in my front yard. Too bad Aunti Zeituni doesn't have a front yard for her Obama sign.
