Obama: Naive Foreign Policy

Barack Obama today again showed his naivety when it comes to foreign policy. The left represented by Obama has decided that it is time to enforce the ostrich syndrome. The left believes that because we have not had an attack on our soil for the last 7 years there is no reason to believe another will come. Nothing could be further from the truth and the Middle East is the central front on terror.

Islamic terrorism is not isolated to Afghanistan. Obama is unable to understand that it was not the Taliban that attacked us. It was an attack carried out by jihadist from Saudi Arabia. Many of the Mujahideen came from Iraq, Jordan, Syria, and Saudi Arabia. Obama would like us to believe that it is only about the Taliban, Osama Bin Laden and the other individual terrorists. Nothing could be further from the truth. Islamic fundamentalism teaches Jihad. Islamic fundamentalism is teaching and spreading their radicalism through force and terror. Islamic fundamentalism desires to rid the world of non believers. There is no other way. They are using economics to dupe their followers. They promise their followers money for committing suicide. The recruit through force and lies. The preach from the Middle East Mosques.

This is what we are fighting. We are not fighting the Taliban who offered a sanctuary. We are not fighting the Pakistanis for the one or two terrorists. We are fighting for our liberties. We are fighting at the heart of the problem. The Middle East is the root of the problem. The fundamentalist preach their hatred from there. Stabilizing Iraq was the only way to stabilize the region. If we would have deserted Iraq when the Democrats wished it would have been a policy disaster of epic proportions.

Obama is more worried about reading the terrorists their rights than fighting Islamic Terrorism. Obama believes that we should only concern ourselves with the Taliban and Osama Bin Laden. How Naive. Nothing could be further from the truth. Funding for the Taliban and Osama Bin Laden is coming into them from the greater Middle East. It is coming to them from Saudi, Syria, Jordan, and elsewhere. We can not stove pipe the individual and we have to look at the greater issue. We can not group the Sunni's in one place and the Shia in another. While these two groups are against the individual preachings they are more similar then they are different. Obama is naive if he believes these groups are dissimilar. When Obama says they are different and he would have separate policies he is not seeing the big picture. When Biden claims he was right all along in Iraq and says the country should be split into three regions this is nothing more then trying to divide the country. We would not have been successful dividing Iraq into to groups. All of these radical Islamists have one central theme; they are against the west. All of the Islamist fundamentalist preach the same thing; the destruction of the west. These fundamentalist all have one goal; rid the world of the infidels.

No this is not an Afghanistan problem. This is Middle East problem. The fundamentalists are utilizing economics to gain a following. Economics are a divisive issue and we will not be able to reconcile with the fundamentalists through diplomacy. The middle east problems have been around since the beginning of time. Does Obama really believe diplomacy will work now just because he says so? Obama is either really naive or he really believes he is the messiah. Either way Obama is delusional and is not fit to be President.
